The
Small Planet is a family owned, independent restaurant owned
by Vaughn Schneider and his two daughters, Natalie and Jaime.
The Small Planet was first established in 1974 as Small Planet
Natural Grocery. In 1980 Small Planet acquired a liquor license
and became a restaurant and Bar. Small Planet was a fixture
in East Lansing for 26 years. Small Planet closed in 2000
when the city of East Lansing began building the City Center.
